| We
are a Catholic school which welcomes families from all faith
backgrounds
and walks of life. Our school serves the educational needs of families
in all parts of Alberta. It is our hope that we may become pathfinders
in offering Gospel-centered educational assistance to individuals both
in this province and around the world. |

|
| The
School of Hope is a partnership of students, parents and teachers
dedicated
to student learning, the celebration of individual gifts, the
achievement
of educational goals and the realization of personal challenges, to the
glory of God.
Because
Home Schooling is a legal provision granting parents the opportunity to
educate their children in a home setting, facilitated by a school board
(resident or non) and regulated by Alberta Learning, we believe that
parents
are fully responsible for their children's education and, as the School
of Hope, we are pleased to be able to be partners in that process.

|
- that parents are
the primary educators of their children
- that parents have
unique knowledge of their children
- that a child's educational
needs can be met in a personal environment
- that the flexible
nature of a home school program allows progress at his/her own pace
- that the natural
interaction in a home school strengthens -- that the home school
atmosphere
builds self-confidence and individual thinking
- that home education
encourages valuable social interaction
- that parents should
be supported philosophically, morally and financially
- that home schooling
is only one of the many alternatives available for educating a child
- that your home school
will be successful, rewarding and challenging
